Where we stand
Most bedding is made cheaply and replaced often. We build ours to outlast the trend cycle, in mills that treat water, energy and waste as things worth accounting for.
Durable materials mean fewer replacements, and fewer replacements are the single largest saving a textile can offer. Everything below follows from that: the fibres we choose, the partners we work with, and the certifications we hold ourselves to.

Our factories run modern effluent treatment plants that recover almost 99% of the water they use. It is a substantial investment with a measurable result: millions of litres saved every year, with no compromise on the finish and feel our customers expect.

Seven tenths of our power comes from wind
70% of the energy used in Bedable factories is wind generated. Renewable supply lowers the carbon footprint of every set we make, and it makes our costs steadier at the same time, which is how we hold prices where they are. Clean power will be the industry standard before long. We would rather already be there.

A zero waste philosophy
Biogas plants and full waste management systems operate across all of our factories. The priority is always cutting waste at the source, then breaking down what is left through eco friendly methods. In practice it has changed how our teams work, with offcuts and byproducts routinely reused rather than discarded.

Tested for what it does not contain
Every Bedable product carries OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification, the internationally recognised seal confirming a textile is free from harmful substances. It is the plainest way we can promise that what touches skin for eight hours a night is safe for your family and the environment.
